  • Condition: the front cover shows some light dirt type marks, some creasing on the corners, the back cover has a large dark circle and a pale green water type mark and some light creasing on the bottom corner, pages 45-48 and the inside of the back cover show the light green watermark bleeding thru onto the pages., the Title page writing in ink that reads 'To Miss Patterson Charles Stoner' on the top left corner.

    Description

    A 1941 C. Howard Hunt Pen Company 'Pen Tips On Cartooning' Book by Charles Stoner. The book measures approx. 9" L x 6" W and is 48 pages on how to draw different Cartoon  characters, etc. The top left corner of the Title page is marked in ink 'To Miss Patterson Charles Stoner'. The Book was 'Published by C. Howard Hunt Pen Co. Camden, N.J. U.S.A. -Distributors'. It is 'Copyrighted 1941' and according to the Book the Book was hand lettered, not printed. The bottom of the Introduction page is marked 'Lettered with SPEEDBALL Pens by Edith Crombie'. The front cover shows some light dirt type marks and some light creasing on the corners. The back cover also shows some dirt type marks and has a large dark ring around the 'Popeye' face and a pale green water type mark below Popeye's chin. Pages 45-48 have the pale green water type mark that bled thru from the back cover. This is a very neat ''Hunt Pen's', 'Charles Stoner' or 'Pen' collectible that I think is in very good cond. for being 80 years old ( see pictures ).
