    Description

    I am currently listing my better "bought" bottles from my collection, some of which I have had for decades. Listed here are two "BALM/ OF/ THOUSAND FLOWERS/ FETRIDGE & CO./ NEW YORK" bottles. One on left is damage free but has a small area of what looks like a blown mold on the backside panel before "BALM." The glass is melty looking but unlikely melt damage as no other evidence indicating it was in a fire. This looks consistent with other blown mold examples I have seen where the blower simply plugs the hole with a smear of glass and quickly moves on. It is an early smooth base and have dug this variant before in early 1860's context. Clear glass that may be flint as I have yet to see any that turn color. This one is 4 3/4" tall and has some internal haze likely from being buried. The aqua one is pristine as I find no issues with it at all, perhaps a wisp of haze on the back panel on close inspection, likely a pro-cleaned tumbled example as it is sparkling clean. Has a nice clear open pontil on base and stands 5" tall. If you are unhappy for any reason, you will have my standard guarantee of your satisfaction for any or no reason or full refund upon return.
