    Condition; Very Good, This basket is a little dusty and has a few damaged stitches.
    Description: This is a stunning larger firm sturdy rarely encountered basket. In many ways the art of basketry reached its peak in California in the early 20

    century. This basket is an excellent example from this era.
    Quality: Fine: There are 10 - 12 stitches, and 8 rows to the inch.
    The Tubatulabal homeland was in the Kern River Valley in the Sierra Nevada Mountains east of Bakersfield.
