    Description

    Fantastic 100% Japanese silk men's neck tie by Modules.
    The 'futuristic-disco' font of the label and the narrowness of the tie (3.5") reveals this was made in the late 1970s--early 80s, during the 2nd Art Deco revival in fashion.
    The print is about as classic an Art Deco motif as you can find, with its contrast of radiating, air-brush style ombre geometrics with big, bouncy circles in black, white, gray, and purple, and faithfully reproduces textile design original to the 1920s.
    Gorgeous, fine silk has both the printed design on it and a damask shadow print.
    Distress and wear issues:
    *Note: Upper center of tie has a faint brown stain the size of larger than a quarter, with a dime sized splodge nearby. The stain fades out on one side. Have not tried to remove stain. See photo #7! Sold as-is.
    *Note: Left edge of bottom 2 inches of tie is wearing through. Could easily be resewn to make a slightly narrower tie. See photo #4. Sold as-is.
