This is a new reproduction of a typical contractor supplied Civil War brown Blanket. These were used by the Army for many years after the Civil War until surplus stock were exhaustedBlanket has unfinished ends, as these were simply cut between the brown stripes and left raw. It has a hard finish, as it has not been "picked" to raise the nap, typical of CW blankets.Weight is just over 4 pounds. Size is 68 x 100 inches
